In your part of the world, do schools still speak of the "Dark Ages" & blame them on the Church?

Well, I think most high-school textbooks refer to them as the Dark Ages, but I've never seen one that blamed them on the church. Prehaps they mentioned some of the underhanded things the church did during those times, but that's not the same. The Dark Ages are always blamed on the collapse of the Roman Empire, at least in every textbook I've seen.
