My now ex wife left me with the house and everything in it. She moved into an old duplex down at the end of my road and has her BF stay with her all the time. My guy tends to have 2 short naps. First, 30-40 mins around 9am, and the second, about the same at 1:00. It can be right to the minute sometimes. Salvatore, among the twenty or so authors we follow. I am in the process of cataloging our book collection and am in box number 27. When we bought this house I was determined to catalog our books before putting them on the shelves built for them. I believe there are 12 more boxes. So close but so many more to do. The problem lays in the fact I got boxes to big for either of us to move once packed. (so typical of me) they each hold about 40 books. Because we both have arthritis in our hands these are 95% paperbacks. I have to get my strong young grandson to come and move them for me. Do you think we might be clified avid readers? :-)

What are some good water shoes for kayaking?

I've tried various warm weather water shoes over the years (i do a lot of kayaking) from soft slip-on water Sporto slippers like the kind people wear on the beach to Keene and Teva sandals and even specially made sneakers with perforated soles to drain the water. But I've found that my favorites right now are a cheapo pair of plastic perforated clogs that sort of look like crocs with a velcro strap across the front -- bought them at a CVS drug store for $8 one day (they were on sale -- think they are usually $15) when I realized I had forgotten my regular paddling shoes. As it turned out, these are super lightweight, drain water well, provide good grip on the pegs and protect my feet when I'm wading through gravel and slime along the banks. And they don't absorb water so you can dry them off completely with a towel and they don't get funky smelling. They don't look as bulky and ridiculous as crocs and come in subdued colors like brown, tan and navy. I like them so much I plan to buy another pair before they are out of them for the season. I think they're the perfect paddling shoes.

Well, I think most high-school textbooks refer to them as the Dark Ages, but I've never seen one that blamed them on the church. Prehaps they mentioned some of the underhanded things the church did during those times, but that's not the same. Problems with my in-laws!?

I like my in-laws..i really do..my sister in law was my maid of honor and i will be her matron in her wedding...but they are the most self centered group of people I know. Everything is about THEM. For example, my sister in law is moving this weekend..i found out last minute i have to run into work, which is 45 mins one way from where they are moving. Have you ever even tried using the Merrick dry kibble? Although Merrick is a good food (I use it, too) I don't think it's in any dog's best interested to eat only canned food. Merrick ALS comes in quite a few different varieties, and each one does make it's own gravy when you add water. That's what I would do if it were my dog. This way, you can still stick with the same brand, using maybe just a little of the canned added to it. Don't forget, the more you keep switching dog foods, the fussier the dog will end up. Don't give the dog a choice. If it's healthy, it will eat, even if it doesn't for 3 days. Also, do not free feed. Feed two scheduled feedings per day day with no treats in between meals.

I know a few people in WI that get all their rent payed food and health payed for by the State. They haven't worked in almost 2 years at a regular job . Are worms a serious medical condition for my pets?

I am scared for my new labsky puppies. I think that they might have worms, but I don't have enough money to take them to a vet. I do not work out at all. The things that will tone you and give you the body you want.... run after kids. They have more stamina then any adult. Go swimming and play sports. That's what I do and at 5'2" totally lean, solid, and 1 10 lbs..yes I can give advice. P.S. eat as much as you can. You will need it if you are running after kids.

my world is collapsing. first off my husband and i were ttc our first baby and i miscarried not one not two but three times due to my pcos. last miscarriage was in february on valentines day. one before that was the day my nephew was born. one before that was two days after christmas a year ago. cant handle that. secondly i was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and tendonitis. i have been waking up in severe pain in my spine in my neck and upper back with migraines and my limbs are numb and tingling. i was prescribed skelaxin and tramadol because i had bad reactions on some of the narcotics. those meds dont do ****. then i got laid off which to be honest i might as well have because i can barely get out of bed anymore. then yesterday...oh yes it had to happen...my husband lost his job. we had to drain our savings last month on my meds and doctors visits because i had no insurance and now we are going to lose our apartment. we have 150 in the bank and 800 dollars worth of bills due this week. im just ready to die. seriously i never thought at 21 id feel this way but i do. two weeks ago we were fine and dandy the pain was manageable and we had jobs and i was starting the grieving process for the babies i lost. now its all gone downhill. i really am considering suicide. im probably too chicken **** to go through with it but its on my mind. i havent slept more than 5 hours in 4 days either so i feel like im going nuts. anybody have any advice? how the hell can i get myself out of this hole?

Now, after 5 min. of waiting for desktop to upload I have a popping sound. Then, when clicking links to new pages or tabs, it does not respond for 30 sec. to 4 min. or more. (I hear the clicking sound with that much delay and then it takes still more time to upload). Sometimes, I am waiting forever for a page to open and I do not have sand-hour- gl or I am on a page and I am waiting forever for the finger for clicking to appear. Did I swallow a tonsil stone?

I'm 17 and have just discovered that I have white spots on my tonsils. So I did a bit of research and discovered that what I have are called tonsil stones. I tried gargling with salt water and about 5 minutes later, I started to feel a lump on the right side of my throat, which is on the same side as the tonsil stone. even the right side of my neck feels tight. How to tackle a dirty housemate?

I have a housemate who simply refuses to pick up after herself. The issue has been discussed with her several times, but she is a free-rider. Oh my god. PLEASE help. Fleas or bedbugs?!?

I've got this little red bites all over. They're very itchy. I've done some research to try to figure out if they are from fleas, or bedbugs or something else all together. I put a picture of some of the bites up, the quality isn't good but its the best I can do. I do NOT have carpet in my room and my mattress is brand new. We just got it a few months ago. And we have no pets and don't live close to anyone that does so I have no idea what these bugs are or where they came from. Anyway, I was leaning towards fleas, because I have seen some of these bugs crawling around on my floor. I have seen them jump, which makes me think they're fleas. They're small and black or brown. They aren't hard to squish though? I've killed probably six of them with a book in the past hour. Also, I saw that fleas mostly bite your lower legs and I only have on bite on my ankle and several on my thighs, behind my knee, my upper arm, and a few on my stomach. Also, I read bed bugs hide in clothes and my room was VERY messy with tons of clothes everywhere. I just cleaned it yesterday, which is when I started seeing the bugs. I've only seen them on the floor. I just really need to know what these are so I can know how to go about getting rid of them. Painful skin around inner labia?

I've had very sore skin for a week now, in a vertical line starting underneath the oris and stops right above the . There is no color change, discharge, itching, spots... but when I touch the skin it hurts very bad. I haven't been to a gynaecologist but I will in a few days. I often get comments from people telling me to give up alcohol cause it will decrease my lifespan they tell me alcohol is a poison to the body and tell me if I don't give it up I will go to an early grave. Sometimes people tell me to give it up entirely and other times people say I should reduce my intake they said if I don't I will die earlier I asked how earlier they said I'll die at mid forties or early fifties instead of eighties. They have said if I want to live past 50 I gotta stop alcohol and find other ways to have fun without drinking. I have said no I am not willing to give up booze entirely they said that's my call then and to not complain when I'll be dying in another 25-30 years due to poor choices when I was younger they told me it doesn't take alcohol to have fun and that there are other fun things in life other then booze. I have said I refuse to give up booze. They said then I wont live to a ripe old age and die young like 40's or 50's max and asked me whether I want to live to a ripe old age and spend more time with my family and possibly see my grandkids I have said yes they have said then to give up alcohol because I don't need it and to learn how to still have fun and not consume alcohol. If it is a superficial cut (like from shaving), you would treat it as with any other laceration- antibiotic ointment and bandage. If it is cut all the way through the dermis than you would need to go to the urgent care or emergency department and get stitches. If it is through the skin and into the tendon as well than go to the emergency dept right away. They need to repair that and put you in a splint so you don't totally rupture it which would be a huge surgery and a very long recovery.

Brake piston?

I recently cleaned my piston and piston seal on my Gs 450, didn't need rebuild but the seal was new, it just wasn't cleaned well in the seal groove, sits fine now. Anyway, can I reemble the brakes with the piston dust gaurd off just to make sure the piston seal is sitting right and not leaking out around the piston. Will it work like that? I figure the dust guard would hide a sign of a leak. Will it hurt anything if I do that just to check it. Also my piston is cleaned up nice now nothing wrong with it xcept for a little something on the bottom, nik or chip. The caliper was kinda dirty but looks new now. Do i need to worry 'bout the little chip on bottom of piston. Can old fluid do that to brakes?. I bled everything really well and I'm sure I hooked them up but want to be sure. Last year my english teacher said that I shouldn't take the advanced cl which is blocked with history. I wanted to take the advanced history but I was very concerned about the english because I have bad problems with reading comprehension and speed not to metion my horific skills of reading out loud. I got an F on almost every worksheet we had about the 4 books we read through the year. I looked on the internet to try and find an answer for why I was having so many problems and had to take hours to do work that was simple for everyone else and found dyslexia. I researched it for months and took lots of online tests and realized that almost everything fit perfectly. I showed my mom the list of symptoms after saying "my english teacher thought there might be a reason I was having trouble in english" which wasn't totally true my teacher kind of gave me hints to the fact that she thought I wasn't smart enough. my mom agreed fully with me but when she called the people to get tested for dyslexia she gave them my english teachers name. I am really worried to tell my mom that I lied and in turn made her lie to the school. I have a serious health question about doctors ethics and my condition.?

We all know when something just isn't right, when our mind and bodies aren't in sync. Docters need to listen more, and have a good bedside manor, and should really do more testing, instead of using process of elimination! I'm not talking about all docters, because their are some really fine docters out there, and you are real lucky to fall upon one. I have had numerous kidney stones, ever since I can remember! I too, was very, very weak, and throwing up bile because the pain was too intense. Every avenue I took, going to this docter, and that one, I could get no help!!. I knew something was terribly wrong with me. All I wanted to do was sleep, it became a great escape for me. All the docters I went to told me that I was depressed, that I needed to get a job, and even told me I was lazy, and put me on prozac, zoloft and numerous other antidepressents. Still, I knew there was something terribly wrong with me, I didn't feel good, ever! I closed my life off, didn't go to family dinners, didn't see my friends, made sure to have no social life..all i wanted to do was sleep! It wasn't until my left kidney was so impacted with kidney stone, and no docter would opperate because of my insurance, that one stepped in, and told me that he would take care of me for free because he didn't take the insurance that I had. I explained how I felt year after year, and the experiences I had with all the other quack docters. He told me he was going to run a test on me, but told me I probably didn't have what he was testing me for. He came back, and told me I had a life threatening disease, and I would have to get a bracelet. He told me that I have Addisons disease. I have no adrenalen, because my adrenal glands are destroyed, and I have to take steriods the rest of my life or I shall die!! I suffered with this disease for many years, because the docters were too busy with the people with the good insurance! All it took was a great docter whom listened, and who really cared about humanity, and one simple test!! Don't give up! I do think you should find a few more docters, and explain how you feel. You know that something just isn't right. I hope you find a docter just like the one, whom was loving enough to help me out. I will forever be grateful for him!! Good, good luck to you.
